HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?

Please go to the ‘ORDER’ tab and fill out the form.

We aim to get back to you within 48 hours with a quote and payment details to secure your date if we have availability.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY CAKE?

As soon as possible. Please allow at least 2 weeks prior to your event as all of our custom cakes are made to order.

PICK UP AND DELIVERY

Pick up is in Pakuranga, Auckland. Instructions on when, where and how to pick up your order will be sent to you closer to the day of pick up via email. Please check your spam/junk folder for this.

We can also offer delivery in some cases for an additional cost. This will be a case by case and we will confirm this when replying to your quote request. 

CAKE PAYMENT POLICY

We require full payment unless otherwise discussed. This must be cleared in our account within 3 days of receiving confirmation that your date is available in order to secure your date. Once this payment has been cleared and in our account - your desired date is now secured.


For large orders; we require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your booking date. This must be cleared in our account within 3 days of receiving confirmation that your date is available in order to secure your date. Once this payment has been cleared and in our account - your desired date is now secured.

The remaining 50% is due 5 days before your pick up date. If this payment is not received please note we reserved the right to cancel your order. 

CANCELLATION POLICY

You are able to cancel your order for a full refund up to 14 days before your pick-up date. Unfortunately, if your order is cancelled with less than 14 days notice you will only receive a 50% refund if full payment has been received. As stated your 50% initial deposit is non-refundable. 


If you cancel your order with less than 72 hours notice you will not receive a refund.


CAN I PICK UP MY CAKE THE DAY BEFORE MY EVENT?

Yes! The best way to store your cake is in the fridge ensure there aren't too many obstructions and that it is away from strong odors.

WHAT'S THE BEST WAY TO TRANSPORT MY CAKE?

We recommend bringing someone with you for cakes that are larger than one tier (this will be communicated to you in your pick up email).
Ensure that the cake is secured and flat. Usually on the passenger's lap or on the floor of the passenger's seat. Ensure that the car is cool. Please never leave a cake in a hot car, and always avoid putting it on the seat as it is not a flat surface.
Goes without saying but please drive carefully! Once the cake is handed to you, the customer then bears all responsibility. This includes the care and delivery of the cake.

CAN I CHANGE MY CAKE ORDER ONCE IT'S BEEN PLACED?

Yes, you can change your order within 14 days of your pick-up date. 
Send us an email! Additional costs may apply for additional decorations.

CAN YOU RE-CREATE THE EXACT CAKE I WANT.

"No two flowers are the same, yet all are beautiful in their own way!" The same can be said for cakes! We, try our best to recreate your cake inspo but we cannot guarantee an exact replica.
We also don't offer intricate fondant work however we offer alternatives options and ensure you get the beautiful cake you are hoping for.

The Little Caker products are not allergen free (unless requested). Our products may contain some or all of the following common food allergens: milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, gluten and wheat.

Please take the time to read carefully - Upon purchasing a cake from us, you acknowledge and accept the following terms and conditions:

ORDERING AND PAYMENT

Please start this process by filling out a form under the ‘ORDER’ tab. We aim to reply to you within 48 hours with a quote and confirmation of availability. We will forward you the payment details which will need to be made via an online bank transfer.

No order is confirmed without payment being received.

If your payment is not in our account within 3 days we reserve the right to cancel your order.

Changes to cake orders must be made via email to us 14 days prior to your scheduled pick up date. There is no guarantee that the requested change will be possible, but we will try our best to accommodate.

CANCELLATIONS

We will offer a full refund IF the cancellation takes place more than 14 days prior to your pick-up date. A 50 % refund will be given if you cancel with 4-13 days notice. NO refunds will be given if a cancellation happens within 72 hours of your pick-up date. All cancellations need to be in writing via email – info.thelittlecaker@gmail.com

REFUNDS

We aim to create you a delicious and beautiful cake.

We wish to provide the best for our customers. 

We pride ourselves on customer satisfaction and we acknowledge the rights given to each customer under the Consumer Guarantees Act.


When a cake is picked up or delivered it will be shown to the customer. This is to ensure that we have met your specifications of design. Once inspected, the cake is considered accepted by the customer. The customer will be provided a cake care card and it is the customers responsibility to ensure they have read this. By accepting the cake, the customer then bears all responsibility. This includes the care and delivery of the cake. No responsibility will be taken by The Little Caker once the cake has been accepted and has left our premises.

If you think the cake is not up to an acceptable standard or it is not what you thought you had ordered, please let us know as soon as possible.

At least 80% of the cake must then be returned to us and an assessment of the cake will be undertaken. If we feel a refund is warranted, we will do so using the same method of purchase once the cake has been returned to us and assessed by us. Please note this does not guarantee a refund.

We do not offer refunds if you forget to pick up your order.

DISCLAIMERS

We cannot guarantee to exactly replicate a cake design and often resources (e.g specific flowers, chocolates) may not be available.
